Content Pager turns selected Joomla articles into a multi-card carousel for news, portfolios, case studies, and related content.

Visitors browse pages of cards with arrows, dots, swipe, and optional quick-view previews.

Which Joomla versions are supported?

Content Pager 2.3 supports Joomla 4, Joomla 5, and Joomla 6.

PHP 8.1 or newer is recommended.

Does Content Pager 2.3 require jQuery?

No. Version 2.3 uses vanilla JavaScript and Joomla's Web Asset Manager.

jQuery, bxSlider, and Fancybox are no longer bundled.

How many cards show at once?

You control cards-per-view for desktop, tablet, and mobile under Display Settings.

Defaults are 3 / 2 / 1.

Which themes are included?

Five themes ship in 2.3: Modern, Editorial, Card, Minimal, and Dark.

You can also set accent colour, corner radius, and card gap.

Can visitors preview an article without leaving the page?

Yes. Set Open Behaviour to Quick-view modal to open a native dialog with the article summary.

Or choose Open article page for a normal link.

Does autoplay pause when someone is reading?

Yes. With Pause on Hover enabled, autoplay stops while the pointer or focus is inside the module.

Autoplay also pauses while a modal is open and when the browser tab is hidden.

Can I filter featured articles or tags?

Yes. Use Featured Articles (Show / Only / Hide) and Filter by Tags in Content Settings.

Exclude Current Article is useful on single-article pages.

Is Content Pager accessible and mobile-friendly?

Yes. It supports keyboard arrows, focusable controls, reduced-motion preferences, and touch swipe.

On phones, navigation arrows move below the card strip for easier tapping.
