OnPageLoad Email Form 2.2.0 is a Joomla site module that shows an email-capture popup with a modern 2026 theme (or classic Legacy Fancybox). Collect name, email, and phone; send admin notifications; and export leads as CSV.

Highlights: four triggers (page load, scroll %, exit intent, click), cookie control, close/gate mode, spam honeypot, AJAX submit, optional redirect, and Joomla 4/5/6 architecture.

Install

1. Go to System → Install → Extensions.
2. Upload mod_onpageload_form_2.2.0.zip and install.
3. Open Content → Site Modules, find OnPageLoad Email Form, publish it, and assign a template position plus menu assignment.

Requirements: Joomla 4.x, 5.x, or 6.x · PHP 8.1+ recommended · working Joomla mail settings for email notifications.

• Test Mode: ON disables cookie persistence so you can preview the popup repeatedly. Set OFF when the live site is ready.
• Trigger: Page Load (optional delay ms), Scroll %, Exit Intent, or Click (CSS selector).
• Cookie Expires in Days: How long to wait before showing the popup again after a successful submit.
• Cookie on Dismiss: Also store the cookie when the visitor closes without submitting.
• Recipient Email: One or more addresses (comma-separated) for submission notifications.
• Popup Title / Badge Text / Messages: Title, badge, message above the form, message below (terms HTML allowed), and success message.
• Redirect after Submit: Optional URL after a successful submit.
• Name / Phone / Checkbox: Show or hide optional fields.
• Show Close Button: ON allows X, Esc, and overlay dismiss. OFF keeps a stricter email gate.
• Spam Honeypot: Hidden field that blocks simple bots.

• Popup Theme: Modern (2026) or Legacy (Fancybox).
• Show Field Icons / Labels: Toggle icons and visible labels on the modern theme.
• Accent Color: Brand accent used for badge, icons, and highlights (default site blue).
• Popup Background / Heading / Body Text: Color controls for the modern panel.
• Popup Corner Radius: Rounded corners for the dialog.
• Overlay Opacity (%) / Overlay Blur (px): Dim and blur the page behind the modal.

• Height of the Popup: Legacy theme only (value in px, without the unit).
• Width of the Popup: Dialog width in pixels for both themes.
• Button Color / Text Color / Hover Color: Submit button styling.
• Form Fields Border Radius: Corner radius for inputs and controls.

Customize every visible string without editing template files.

• Name / Email / Phone Label: Placeholder and label text for each field.
• Send Label: Submit button text (for example Continue or Subscribe).
• Checkbox Label: Plain text or HTML. Example: <a href=\"/terms\" target=\"_blank\">Terms & Conditions</a>
• Email Subject: Subject line for admin notification emails.

• Download CSV: Download collected submissions (date, name, email, phone, IP).
• Add Extra CSS: Optional CSS injected with the module assets.
• Layout / Module Class Suffix / Caching: Standard Joomla module options.

Publish the module in any position. The modern theme portals the dialog to document.body so it never flashes inside the module chrome.

• Confirm the module is published, assigned to a real template position, and assigned to the menu item you are testing.
• With Test Mode OFF, clear the module cookie or use a private window if the popup already fired for this browser.
• After changing parameters, clear Joomla cache if site caching is enabled.
• If email notifications fail, check System → Global Configuration → Server → Mail Settings and send a test mail.
• Legacy theme needs Fancybox assets; Modern theme does not. If CSS looks stale, hard-refresh (Ctrl+F5).
• Click trigger: make sure the CSS selector matches an element that exists on the page.
