Troubleshooting
- No items showing: Check published articles, category selection, menu assignment, and Empty State Message. For custom items, verify schedule dates.
- RSS not loading: Confirm feed URL, increase RSS Cache, and ensure PHP can make outbound HTTP requests.
- Text cut off on mobile: Long headlines auto-scroll in reveal/fade modes. Check Width and template CSS on
.jnt-root.
- Controls stacked vertically: Clear cache and confirm
ticker-style.css v2.7 is loading.
- Strange separator characters: Set Item Separator to plain ASCII such as
| .
- Install error: Unable to detect manifest: Use the Joomla-compatible
mod_ticker_2.7.zip built with forward-slash paths.
- Styles not applying: Use Custom CSS or Module Class Suffix. Check layout preset and color fields.
