Content Settings

Open your module and use the Content Settings tab.

• Content Source — Joomla Articles or Custom Cards
• Category — one or more article categories (articles source)
• Order Results — Published Date, Created Date, Modified Date, Ordering, Hits, or Random
• Order Direction — Ascending or Descending (hidden when Random is selected)
• Number of Cards — how many cards to load (1–40, default 8)
• Featured Articles — Show, Only, or Hide
• Filter by Tags — optional multi-tag filter
• Exclude Current Article — hide the article currently being viewed (useful on single-article pages)
• Trigger Plugin Events — run content plugins on article intro text
• Custom Cards — repeatable rows when source is Custom Cards:
  • Card Title (required)
  • Card Image — optional media field
  • Card Link — optional URL
  • Card Body — editor HTML

Tip: Use intro images plus a short excerpt length for clean Classic cards.
