Installation
Step 1 — Download
- After purchase, download
pkg_wookmark_gallery_2.6.zip(recommended) — or the separate module / plugin zips. - Keep the zip file; do not unzip it unless the store told you to.
Step 2 — Install in Joomla
- Log in to the Joomla administrator.
- Go to System → Install → Extensions (on older menus: Extensions → Manage → Install).
- Open the Upload Package File tab.
- Choose
pkg_wookmark_gallery_2.6.zip. - Click Upload & Install.
- Wait for the green success message.
Step 3 — Turn the plugins on
- Go to System → Plugins (or Extensions → Plugins).
- Search for Woomark.
- Enable these two plugins:
- Content - Woomark Image Gallery
- Editor Button - Woomark Image Gallery
If a plugin shows a red X, click it so it becomes a green check.
Step 4 — Put your images on the site
- Go to Content → Media.
- Create a folder, for example
woomark-demo(files live underimages/). - Upload your photos (JPG/PNG/WebP work best).
- Optional: name files like
Nature__lake.jpgfor category filters.
Quick start A — Module (easiest for beginners)
- Go to Content → Site Modules → New.
- Choose Woomark Image Gallery.
- Title: anything, e.g. Photo Gallery.
- On the Content tab set Image Source to From folder.
- Pick your image folder.
- On Look & Feel, leave Masonry Layout on (Woomark’s signature look).
- Choose a Position, set Status to Published, assign menu items, Save.
- Open the front of the site and click a photo.
Quick start B — Shortcode in an article
- Edit any article.
- Click the editor button Woomark Gallery (or type a shortcode).
- Example:
{wookmark folder="images/woomark-demo" columns="3" masonry="1"} - Save the article and view it on the site.
