Layout & Behaviour

Layout and theme change the list. Sticky applies to the in-article box. The side rail stays in view on its own.

• Layout (default: List):
  • List: nested hierarchy that matches heading levels
  • Flat: one level for every included heading
  • Numbered: 1 / 1.1 markers
  • Compact: a quieter outline
  • Cards: larger tap targets
• Theme (default: Classic): Classic, Soft, Bold, Minimal, Glass. Appearance colours still apply.
• Collapsible and Start Collapsed: open and close the in-article box. These do not apply to the side rail.
• Sticky (default: No): keep the in-article box visible while scrolling on desktop (off under 768px). This does not control the side rail.
• Scroll Spy (default: Yes): highlight the section currently in view
• Smooth Scroll (default: Yes): animated jump. This respects reduced-motion settings.
• Scroll Offset (px) (default: 80): space under a sticky site header when jumping to a heading
• Back to Top Link (default: No)
