Test and live
Test mode and live mode keep separate keys, so you can switch back without retyping them.

Test the store
- Set Mode to Test, enter the test keys, and save.
- Place an order and pay with Razorpay test methods. In test mode, UPI and netbanking show a Success or Failure choice. Razorpay publishes test card numbers in its own documentation.
- Check that the order moves to your paid status, then try a refund.
Go live
- Finish Razorpay activation and generate live keys.
- Enter the live Key ID, live Key Secret, and, after you create the live webhook, the live webhook secret.
- Set Mode to Live and save.
- Make one small real payment, check the order, then refund it.
Test-mode orders cannot be confirmed by live webhooks, and live-mode orders cannot be confirmed by test webhooks.
