Troubleshooting

  • No slides appear

    • Confirm images are set in Slides, or that the folder path exists and contains jpg/png/gif/webp files. Publish the module and clear cache.

  • Old look or broken script

    • Clear Joomla and browser cache. Confirm assets load as rnivo-slider.css?2.0.1 and rnivo-slider.js?2.0.1.

  • Thumbnails missing

    • Enable Pagination and set Pagination Type to Thumbnails. Confirm there are at least two slides.

  • Autoplay not running

    • Turn Auto Advance on. Check Pause On Hover and whether the OS reduced-motion preference is active.

  • Captions blank

    • Enable Caption Bar and add caption text on individual slides (folder mode has no per-file captions).

  • Too tall on phones

    • Use Slideshow Height auto for fluid layouts, or keep a fixed height: on small screens the module caps fixed stages to a 16:9 band.
