Troubleshooting

Most missing icons come from publishing, the saved URL, or a stale cache.

• Module missing: Confirm it is published, assigned to the current menu item, and placed in a rendered template position.
• WhatsApp opens your own site: Profile URL must be a full https://wa.me/ link. A phone number alone is stored as a path on your site and returns a 404.
• Profile icon missing: Enable the item and enter a valid HTTP, HTTPS, mailto, tel, Skype, relative, or anchor URL.
• Dock hidden: Check Mobile Dock Behaviour and Show After Scrolling. A non-zero threshold keeps it hidden near the top.
• Dock looks like an oval: Circle used to round the whole panel. Update to the current module, then clear cache. Circle should round the icons only, and the panel should stay a rounded bar.
• Sharing opens the wrong page: Disable Joomla or CDN page caching for highly dynamic URLs where necessary.
• Old design remains after updating: Clear Joomla, template, CDN, and browser caches so the current assets load.
• Brand icon missing: The module uses the Font Awesome 6 build bundled with Joomla core. If your template loads an older Font Awesome, the newest brand glyphs such as X, Threads, and Bluesky may not render.
