Licensing

This license agreement applies to the Joomla extensions that Infyways Solutions Private Limited, a company registered in India ("Infyways", "we", "us"), develops and sells on JoomlaX. In it, "you" means the person or business that bought or uses the extension (the "Licensee").

The short version

• Every Infyways extension is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPL v2).
• You can use it on as many domains as you like, change it, and share it under the GPL v2.
• We don't support modified code. Support covers our extensions as we release them.
• Your plan pays for downloads, updates and support during your plan period. Downloads and updates need a download key.

1. GPL v2 license

1.1 All Joomla extensions developed by Infyways are released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 ("GPL v2"). Every part of an Infyways extension, including PHP code, images, CSS (cascading style sheets), manuals and JavaScript files, is distributed under the GPL v2.

1.2 Parts of Infyways extensions that were once under the Infyways Proprietary Use License v1.0 are now released under the GPL v2. This change keeps us fully in line with the Joomla Extensions Directory (JED) guidelines.

2. Where you can use the extensions

2.1 You may use Infyways extensions on multiple domains. Support is provided during your plan period, starting from the date of purchase.

2.2 Each plan lists a number of sites, and your license covers the number of sites listed for your plan: 1 website (30 Days), 2 websites (6 Months), 3 websites (1 Year) or unlimited websites (Lifetime) for single extensions, and 3 websites (Basic), 5 websites (Premium) or unlimited websites (Developer) for bundles, as shown on the product and pricing pages. This is a license term only: there's no domain registration or activation, and it doesn't limit your rights under the GPL v2.

3. Changing the code

3.1 The GPL v2 lets you change any part of an Infyways extension, and you're welcome to.

3.2 We don't support modified code. Our support covers Infyways extensions as we release them. If you or someone else has changed an extension's code, we can't provide support for it. That includes problems or lost features caused by the change.

4. Sharing modified versions

4.1 In line with the GPL v2, you can freely share and use modified files from Infyways extensions, as long as you follow the GPL v2 terms. That means keeping the GPL license information and the copyright and author notices, and saying clearly that you've changed the files.

5. Updates, downloads and your download key

5.1 We provide regular updates and upgrades to Licensees during their plan period. Plan lengths are 30 Days, 6 Months, 1 Year or Lifetime for single extensions, and Basic (6 months), Premium (1 year) or Developer (lifetime) for bundles.

5.2 You may download Infyways extensions an unlimited number of times during your plan period. When the plan period ends, downloads and updates stop together. Lifetime plans don't expire.

5.3 You need a valid download key to download extensions and receive updates. You get one key for each product in each purchase, shown on your Download History page. A key stops working when its plan period ends (lifetime keys don't expire). Download keys are for your own use.

5.4 Plans don't renew automatically. When your subscription ends, we email you, and you can choose to renew your license to keep access to downloads, updates and support. The extensions you've already installed keep working, and your GPL v2 rights in code you've already downloaded continue. See Terms of Use §5.

6. What your plan pays for

The GPL v2 gives you the right to use, change and share the code. What you pay for on JoomlaX is the service around it: access to downloads, updates and support for your plan period, and the download key that enables them.

7. Refunds

7.1 Purchases and subscriptions are covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply) in our Refund Policy, which forms part of this agreement. Refunds are available only under the conditions in that policy.

7.2 If you get a refund, your purchase or subscription for the refunded product (or for the whole bundle) ends on the date of the refund. Access to downloads, updates and support for that product is withdrawn, and the download keys for that order stop working. We ask you to remove the refunded extension from your websites. Removal isn't a condition of the refund.

7.3 Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the GNU General Public License, version 2, or under applicable consumer law.
