Categories

The Categories tab defines what visitors can allow or refuse.

• Built-in categories: Analytics, Marketing, and Functional (Necessary is always on).
• Labels & descriptions: Edit the text shown in Cookie settings.
• Default state: Choose whether each optional category starts on or off in the prefs panel.
• Custom categories: Add your own ids (for example social) with label, description, default, and script.
• Consent days: How long a saved choice is remembered.
• Consent version: Bump this when your policy changes so visitors are asked again.
