Troubleshooting

Old icon still shows

• Clear Joomla cache, hard-refresh (Ctrl+F5), and confirm Generate all icons completed. Template tags should be stripped when a pack exists.

Generate fails

• Confirm GD or Imagick is installed. Prefer a square PNG. Check max master size in Advanced.

Admin icon unchanged

• Enable the administrator pack. If reuse site is Yes, the site pack is used. Otherwise upload an admin master and generate again.

Manifest conflict

• Set Manifest mode to Defer or Off when another PWA extension owns the manifest.

Plugin name shows as PLG_SYSTEM_EASYFAVICON

• Reinstall the zip so language files are in place. Clear cache and reload Plugins.
