Troubleshooting

Popup not opening

• Confirm System - Easy Login Popup is Enabled
• Check the shortcode or selector/hash matches plugin settings
• Clear Joomla and browser cache
• Look for JavaScript errors in the browser console

Double popup / conflict

• Disable overlapping selectors shared with other login popup extensions
• Use a unique class (e.g. .open-elp-login) and #elp-popup

Logged-in menu empty

• Verify After Login mode and that the menu/module/position is published and accessible
• For positions, confirm the module is assigned to that exact position name

Login fails or 500 after login

• Check login redirect menu item is published
• Update to 1.5+ if you hit module render errors on older builds
• Review administrator error logs

Styling not applying

• Confirm theme selection (Modern vs Legacy)
• Clear cache; Extra CSS may need higher specificity against the template
