Which shortcodes can I use?
Use {elp-login}, {elp-logout}, {elp-username}, {elp-name}, {elp-greeting="Hello,"}, {elp-usermenu}, and {elp-loggedin} in articles or Custom HTML modules.
Can I show a user menu after login like SCLogin?
Yes. Set After Login Show to Joomla menu, a specific module, or a module position (for example Helix Ultimate logged-in-usermenu). Optionally include greeting text and a logout link in the same block.
Can I customize the popup to match my brand?
Yes. Choose Modern (2026) or Legacy theme, then set accent, button, input, link, overlay, blur, radius, fonts, and more. Use Extra CSS when you need finer control. Colours are output as CSS variables.
How do I open the popup from an existing menu link?
Set Extra Link Selector (e.g. .open-elp-login) or use the login hash (default #elp-popup). Logged-in users can use #elp-logout for the logout popup.
Why do two login popups open when I click Login?
Another extension (for example Login Popup Pro) may share the same selector such as a[href="#login"]. Give Easy Login Popup a unique selector/class and use #elp-popup so only one popup binds to the link.
Is it mobile-friendly?
Yes. It is responsive on desktop, tablet, and phone. Choose Mobile Layout: Sheet for a bottom sheet, or Center for a floating modal.
How secure is the login form?
It uses Joomla session tokens (CSRF protection), optional HTTPS form posting, and an optional Two-Factor secret key field when MFA is available.
Can I control redirects after login or logout?
Yes. Choose menu items for Login Redirection Page and Logout Redirection Page in the plugin Basic settings.
Can I hide Remember Me, Register, or forgot links?
Yes. Under Login Form Fields you can toggle Remember Me, Forgot Password, Forgot Username, Register, and the TFA field independently.
Does it work on Joomla 5 and 6?
Yes. Easy Login Popup 1.5 supports Joomla 4, 5, and 6.
Where should I put the shortcodes?
In articles, Custom HTML modules, or other content areas — not in CSS. Use the Extra CSS field only for styling.
