Troubleshooting

  • No application/ld+json in View Source

    • Confirm System - Easy Schema is Enabled and Enable on site is Yes. Confirm at least one Published Item matches the page (integration, view, menus, categories). Clear cache and hard-refresh.

  • Two Article scripts

    • Turn Strip core Article schema on. Add Article and BlogPosting to Types to remove. If Easy Meta is installed, keep its schema mode Off or Defer.

  • Works on one article but not another

    • Open the Item Publishing tab. Check categories, article IDs, and menus. Check the article Schema tab is not set to Disable.

  • Product has no price

    • Confirm Integration is VirtueMart or HikaShop and you are on a product view. Confirm the shop tables exist. Map Price to Custom field if the shop stores price elsewhere.

  • Local Business never appears

    • Integration must be Menu Manager, and Menu items must include that page. Empty menu IDs never match a Menu Manager Item.

  • Old JSON-LD after edits

    • Save the Item, clear Joomla cache, then Ctrl+F5 on the front end.

  • Need to see match counts

    • Turn Debug comment On in Configuration, reload as a Super User, and look for an HTML comment before </body>.
