Installation

Downloading the Component

After purchasing the extension, you will receive a download link for the component file: com_htmlimport.zip

Installing the Component

1. Log in to your Joomla backend
2. Navigate to System > Install > Extensions
3. Drag and drop the com_htmlimport.zip file or click "Upload Package File" to browse
4. The installation will process automatically
5. A success message will be displayed once complete

System Requirements

• Joomla: 4.0 or higher (4.x, 5.x, 6.x supported)
• PHP: 8.1 or higher (8.2+ recommended)
• MySQL: 5.7 or higher / MariaDB 10.3+
• PHP Extensions: cURL, DOM, libxml, GD (for WebP conversion)

After Installation

Access the component from Components > HTML Import Pro

You will see the dashboard with:

• Import statistics overview
• Quick action buttons for different import methods
• Recent import activity
• Profile and log counts

Post-Installation Checklist

1. Review component options (Options button in toolbar)
2. Set default category for imported articles
3. Configure default content selectors
4. Set image import preferences
5. Configure user agent for URL fetching
