First-time setup

Publish one rule, keep both plugins enabled, then sign in on the public site to test it.

1. Go to System > Plugins and confirm System - Login Redirect Manager and User - Login Redirect Manager are enabled.
2. Open Components > Login Redirect Manager > Rules and click New.
3. Set Event to After login, Site area to Public site, and Status to Published.
4. Set Destination to a menu item or an internal URL on your site.
5. Click Save & Close, clear the cache, then sign in on the public site with a normal member account.

Use a member account for the first test. A Super User signing in to the administrator is kept inside the administrator.
