Introduction

Responsive News Ticker 1.7 is a modern horizontal news ticker for Joomla. Place it in a module position, or pin it as a fixed top or bottom bar. It uses vanilla CSS and JavaScript (prefix jx-rt) — no jQuery.

What can it do?

• Placement: module position, top fixed, or bottom fixed
• Content from articles, custom items, or single text
• Five themes: Modern, Minimal, Dark, Soft, Contrast
• Header label, play / pause, fade edges, pause on hover

Who is this for?

• Site-wide announcement bars
• News and magazine headline strips
• Store promos and school updates

Works with

• Joomla 4, 5, and 6
• Phones, tablets, and desktops
• Multiple module instances on the same page

Tip: Use Module placement for in-page demos, and Top Fixed for site-wide alerts.
