You can use standard youtube.com/watch URLs, youtu.be links, YouTube Shorts URLs, and YouTube embed URLs. The module validates and extracts the 11-character video ID.
What gallery layouts are included?
Choose a Horizontal carousel, Vertical carousel, or Responsive grid. The same video list works with every layout.
Can I set different numbers of videos for each device?
Yes. Carousel layouts provide separate Visible Videos settings for desktop, tablet, and mobile. The module recalculates slide dimensions when its container changes size.
Which navigation methods are available?
Visitors can use previous and next arrows, pagination dots, touch swipe, pointer drag, and keyboard arrow keys. The administrator can display arrows, dots, both, or neither.
Does the gallery support autoplay and continuous movement?
Yes. Configure autoplay delay, transition duration, looping, pause on hover or focus, and Continuous Ticker mode. Autoplay is disabled automatically when a visitor prefers reduced motion.
How does the YouTube popup protect visitor privacy?
Enable YouTube Privacy-Enhanced Mode to use youtube-nocookie.com. The iframe is created only after a visitor opens a video, so YouTube content is not requested during the initial gallery render.
Can I customize the video thumbnails?
Yes. Set thumbnail height, crop or contain fit, spacing, border colour, corner radius, and the play/control accent colour. An optional grayscale treatment reveals full colour on hover or keyboard focus.
What happens to existing galleries when I upgrade?
Version 1.7 reads the existing repeatable slide data and maps commonly used legacy layout, count, height, timing, colour, and display settings. Open and save the module after upgrading to review the new parameter groups.
What accessibility features are included?
The module provides labelled controls, visible focus states, keyboard carousel navigation, meaningful alt-text fields, Escape and backdrop close for the modal, focus restoration, large touch targets, and reduced-motion handling.
