Diagnostics
Turn on Advanced › HTML comment summary to see what the plugin did on a page. View the page source and search for "Easy Responsive Tables". You'll find a comment just before the closing body tag, like this:
<!-- Easy Responsive Tables: processed 3 (scroll 1, cards 2, priority 0), fallbacks 1, skipped 2; cards fell back to scroll x1; skipped: ert-ignore x1; skipped: inside navigation nav x1 -->
It shows how many tables were processed in each layout, how many fell back to scrolling, and why tables or pages were skipped. Typical reasons are no tables on page, menu item excluded, excluded by selector .calendar, layout or empty table and malformed markup.
- The comment contains only counts and short reasons. It never includes the plugin version, file paths, settings, user details or error messages.
- Every visitor can see it in the page source while it's on, so turn it off when you're done.
- Page caching can serve an older copy, so clear the cache after turning it on or off.
For more detail, turn on Debug log. It writes a line per page to administrator/logs/easyresponsivetables.php, and never logs page content.
