Recipients

Recipients are the people who receive the approver mail.

Open Configuration > Recipients.

• Users: named accounts, in addition to the group
• User group: Super Users by default
• Extra addresses: one per line. These can decide even when they are not Joomla users
• Domain rules: one line, domain then group id, such as school.edu 12. The first match replaces the group used on approve. Subdomains match too.

A new account is never placed in Administrator or Super Users, even if the site's new-user group is one of those.
