Lazy load (AJAX)

What it does: module HTML is fetched when the popup first opens, instead of being hidden in the page HTML.

When to use: large forms, modules you do not need on every page load.

How to turn on:

• Shortcode: lazy="true"
• Plugin or Module settings: Lazy Load = ON

Requirement: Content - Pop Any Module plugin must be enabled. AJAX URL uses com_ajax with plugin popanymodule.

Hash / deep links

What it does: when the popup opens, the browser URL gets a hash like #login-form. Sharing or reloading that URL can reopen the popup.

How to set:

• Shortcode: hash="true" hashslug="login-form"
• Module: enable Hash / Deep Links and set Hash Slug

If Hash Slug is empty, a default like popmod-{id} may be used.

Gallery groups

What it does: several triggers share one group so visitors can move next/prev (and swipe on phones) between popups.

How to set: same rel="group-name" (shortcode) or Gallery Group field (module) on every item. Use letters, numbers, and hyphens only.

Enable Gallery Next/Prev and Gallery Swipe in plugin or module behaviour settings.

Popup size tips

• Prefer fixed heights like 560px when you know the content height.
• 85vh means “85% of the screen height” (a max height), not a tiny 85px box.
• Width examples: 520px, 860px, min(920px, 94vw).
