Troubleshooting

Shortcode shows as plain text

• Is Content - Pop Any Module enabled?
• Is the shortcode spelled exactly {popanymodule …}?
• Clear cache and refresh.

Click does nothing / popup empty

• Is the target module ID correct and published?
• If Lazy Load is ON, is the plugin enabled?
• Check the browser console for JavaScript errors from other extensions.

Popup is too short or cut off

• Set popheight to a pixel value like 560px.
• Avoid assuming 85vh means a fixed small height — it is a max height based on the viewport.
• Wait a moment after open if lazy load is filling content, then resize if needed.

White / invisible button

• Use class="ibtn ibtn-primary".
• Ensure Modern Button Styling is ON (Modern theme).
• Check template CSS is not overriding .ibtn with transparent backgrounds.

Hash does not reopen the popup

• Hash / Deep Links must be ON.
• hashslug must match the URL hash (without the #).
• Reload the page with the hash already in the URL.

Gallery arrows missing

• Same rel / Gallery Group on all items.
• Gallery Next/Prev enabled in settings.

Asset / registry error about plg.content.popanymodule.init

• Update to 3.1.x assets.
• Clear cache. Re-save the plugin and module.

Still stuck?

• Confirm Joomla 4/5/6.
• Reinstall pkg_popanymodule_3.1.zip.
• Contact support with your Joomla version, PHP version, and whether you use shortcode or module.
