Upgrade to Version 1.7

Version 1.7 replaces the legacy jQuery, bxSlider, Fancybox, Font Awesome, and grayscale implementation. Back up the site, install the 1.7 ZIP using Joomla’s extension installer, clear caches, then open and save each existing module instance.

Compatibility handling

• Existing slides0, slides1, and similar repeatable slide rows are read without re-entry.
• Legacy effect=none is mapped to the Responsive grid layout.
• max_slide and min_slide provide fallbacks for desktop and tablet visible counts.
• Legacy height, autoplay, pause, speed, ticker, controls, grayscale, navigation colour, border colour, popup width, and random/sequence values are recognized where relevant.

Obsolete slide-width, move-count, Timthumb-labelled resizing, Fancybox sizing, external-library, and dead bootstrap parameters are intentionally removed. Review the new Layout, Playback, Appearance, and Video Popup tabs after upgrading.
