Introduction
Easy Login As lets a trusted administrator open the public site as another user, without a shared password.
The package installs two parts that work together:
- Component: Dashboard, audit log, and Configuration.
- System plugin: adds the Login as column on Users, and on shop or community lists when those extensions are installed.
What you can do
- Open an allowed account from Users > Manage
- Land on a page on your own site, or on a chosen menu item
- Keep Super Users protected
- Limit which administrator groups may open which user groups
- Record each open, and optionally email a notice that does not include the link
