Installation

Requirements

• Joomla 4, 5, or 6
• PHP 8.1 or later recommended
• Front-end user registration enabled in Users > Options

Install

1. Download plg_user_registration_simplifier_1.2.zip.
2. Open System > Install > Extensions.
3. Upload and install the plugin.
4. Open System > Plugins.
5. Search for User - Registration Simplifier.
6. Set the switches you need, then set Status to Enabled.
7. Clear Joomla and browser cache.

Show the registration form

1. Confirm Allow User Registration is Yes under Users > Options.
2. Create or use a menu item of type Users > Registration Form.
3. Open that page on the site to see the simplified form.
