Profile Fields

This switch lives under the Profile Fields tab.

• Remove Name Field
  Hides the name field. Before validation, the plugin builds a display name from the email local-part (the text before @). Dots, underscores, and hyphens become spaces, then the value is title-cased. Example: jane.doe_smith@example.com becomes Jane Doe Smith.

If a hidden name value is empty or equals User, it is replaced from the email. Other submitted name values are left as-is.
