- Map module labels: Module options such as Area, Listing Type, Enable Near Me, and radius now show translated labels in English and Croatian instead of raw language keys.
- Map module language: Near Me and radius text on the frontend load Easy Directory language files, including Croatian.
- Map + Near Me module: The module map now keeps the Map height you set. Split-map CSS no longer collapses it to a 0px strip, so the map, markers, and Near Me control are visible.
- Mobile filters drawer: Fixed Filters tap so the sidebar opens as an overlay drawer on phones.
- Mobile map spacing: Removed the large blank area above the map caused by the closed filter column still taking layout space.

- Checkbox Group fields: New checkboxes custom field type for multi-value attributes (for example cuisine). Selected values save as JSON, show as tags on cards and detail, and work with facet filters. Existing Yes/No checkbox amenities are unchanged.
- Hours by type and category: Listing Types and Categories can disable Working Hours. When either is set to No, the admin Hours tab and frontend hours hide. Menu and global show_hours still act as an outer override.
- Gallery multi-select: Add several Media Manager images at once into gallery rows while keeping caption, alt text, and reorder.
- Listing logo: Separate logo field, independent of the main image and gallery, with optional card and detail display toggles.
- 360° panorama field: New panorama custom field for equirectangular images, scoped by category or type, with an interactive viewer on the listing detail page.

Which map providers are supported?

Easy Directory supports both Google Maps (using your Google Maps JavaScript API key) and OpenStreetMap using Leaflet. You can select your preferred map provider globally in the component Configuration or override it per layout.

How does the Near Me locator work?

When a visitor clicks Near Me, the browser requests their current GPS coordinates via HTML5 Geolocation. The directory then calculates distances and filters listings within the selected radius (for example 5 km, 10 km, or 25 km).

Can I assign custom fields to specific categories only?

Yes. When creating a custom field, you can choose whether it applies to all listings or only to selected categories or listing types. For example, you can assign Cuisine Type to Restaurants and Beach Surface to Beaches.

Does Easy Directory support Schema.org structured data for SEO?

Yes. Easy Directory automatically generates JSON-LD structured data on single listing pages, including LocalBusiness, Restaurant, and TouristAttraction schemas with address, coordinates, opening hours, and price range.

Can I import listings from a CSV spreadsheet?

Yes. Easy Directory includes a dedicated Import & Export screen where you can download a sample CSV file, upload your spreadsheet, and automatically batch geocode addresses to GPS coordinates.

Does Easy Directory require jQuery?

No. Easy Directory is built using modern vanilla JavaScript and clean CSS variables. It loads via Joomla's native Web Asset Manager with zero jQuery dependencies.

How do I switch between Rounded and Squared corner styling?

In the administrator Configuration under the Design tab, set Corner Style to Rounded or Squared. The change applies instantly across all buttons, cards, filter bars, and modal containers.
