Requirements

Before you install

• Joomla: 4.4 or later (5.x and 6.x supported)
• PHP: 8.1 or newer
• Database: MySQL or MariaDB
• Google Maps: Maps JavaScript API key (Geocoding API for address search and batch geocoding; Places if you use Google Suggest)
• Access: Super User or administrator to install extensions

Upgrade from Sysgen on Joomla 3

1. Backup files and database
2. Upgrade the site to Joomla 4.4+ (or 5 / 6)
3. Install this package (replaces com_storelocator in place)
4. Confirm the API key in Options and test map menu items
