What does OnPageLoad Email Form do?

It displays an email-capture popup on your Joomla site so you can collect leads without leaving the page.

Version 2.2 adds a modern 2026 theme, flexible triggers, phone field, honeypot, close control, and CSV export.

Which Joomla versions are supported?

Joomla 4.x, 5.x, and 6.x.

Joomla 3 is not supported. No backward-compatibility plugin is required.

What triggers are available?

Four modes: Page Load (optional delay), Scroll %, Exit Intent, and Click via a CSS selector.

Pick one trigger per module instance.

What is the difference between Modern and Legacy themes?

Modern is the default 2026 modal UI (badge, icons, success state, overlay blur).

Legacy keeps the classic Fancybox layout for sites that prefer the older look.

Does the form reload the page on submit?

No. Submissions use AJAX through Joomla's built-in AJAX handler.

Visitors see loading and success states inside the popup.

How do cookies and Test Mode work?

Test Mode ON skips cookie storage so you can preview freely.

When Test Mode is OFF, a successful submit sets a cookie for the configured number of days. Optional Cookie on Dismiss also sets it when the visitor closes without submitting.

Can I hide the close button?

Yes. Turn Show Close Button OFF to block Esc and overlay dismiss for a stricter email gate.

Turn it ON for the usual X, Esc, and backdrop close behaviour.

Will I get email notifications for each lead?

Yes, when Recipient Email is set and Joomla mail is configured.

You can enter multiple addresses separated by commas and customize the email subject.

Can I download the captured leads?

Yes. Open the module → Advanced → Download CSV.

The file includes date, name, email, phone, and IP for each submission.

How do I stop spam submissions?

Enable Spam Honeypot. A hidden field catches simple bots without a CAPTCHA for real visitors.

You can also keep the consent checkbox required for an extra human step.

Can I redirect visitors after they submit?

Yes. Set Redirect after Submit to a thank-you or offer URL.

If left empty, the popup stays open and shows the success message.

The popup does not appear. What should I check?

Confirm the module is published, assigned to a position and menu item, and that Test Mode / cookies are not blocking a re-show.

Clear Joomla cache, hard-refresh the browser, and verify the click selector if you use the Click trigger.
