The Dashboard

Components → Easy Coming Soon → Dashboard shows:

• Status: ON or OFF, and which mode is active.
• Lockout check: tells you whether your browser will see the real site and why (user group, IP, admin session). The Add my current IP button adds your IP to the whitelist in one click.
• Waiting list count with a link to the list.
• Secret preview link: a link anyone can open to see the real site for the preview cookie lifetime.
• Regenerate secret revokes this link, every named preview link, every cookie already handed out, and the emergency link.
• Password access: this card is the only place where the shared password is turned on or off.
• Set password turns password access on. The password must be at least 4 characters, and only a hash is stored.
• Setting a new password signs out everyone who unlocked with the old one.
• Remove password turns password access off.
• Emergency off: your emergency link and the marker file status (see section 13).
• Settings preview: a live preview of both modes with your current settings.

Tip: If Joomla's Global Configuration → System → Track Session Metadata is off, the dashboard warns you. "Let logged-in administrators through" needs it.
