Friendly URLs

Short event links need a published Easy Events Calendar menu item. The menu alias becomes the first URL segment. The event alias becomes the second.

Example: menu alias events + event alias summer-market → /events/summer-market.

From 1.2.7 this works for any list layout: Calendar month, Events map, Agenda, Cards, Timeline, Dashboard, and Week. A hidden extra menu is optional if you already have a public Events page.

Which menu item type?

Use the public page visitors already open (often Events map or Calendar month). Event pages then sit under that alias.

Single event	Only for one pinned event

Without a usable menu item, links look like /component/easyeventscalendar/event/event-alias.

Setup

1. Confirm you have a published, Public Easy Events Calendar menu item (your Događanja / Events page is enough).
2. Optional: add a hidden Calendar month item only if you want a different first segment than the public page.
3. Status Published, Access Public.
4. Save, then System > Maintenance > Clear Cache.

• Use URL Rewriting: Yes when your server supports it

Older links with ?view=event&id= still open the same events after you update.
