Advanced

The Advanced tab holds the standard Joomla module fields.

• Layout: pick a template override or alternative layout
• Module Class: extra CSS class on the slider root, for example hero-slider
• Caching / Cache Time: the slide HTML is cached per menu item. Motion runs in the browser, so caching is safe

Styling with CSS

Every slider has the id rps-{moduleId} and the class mod-revealing-photo-slider. Your template can set CSS variables:

Template override

1. Go to System > Site Templates > your template > Create Overrides.
2. Click Modules > mod_revealing_photo_slider.
3. Edit html/mod_revealing_photo_slider/default.php. Keep the rps, rps__slide, and rps__img classes and the data-reveal-slider attribute.

Translations

Button and screen reader labels come from the language file, so they can be translated with a normal language override.
