Which Joomla versions does Easy Tab Title support?

What does Easy Tab Title do?

It changes the browser tab title (and optionally the favicon) based on rules you create: leave tab, return, scroll, time on page, sequences, badges, and more.

Do I need both the component and the plugin?

Yes. The component stores rules and presets. The system plugin runs them on the public site. The package installs both together.

What file do I download from the store?

Download EasyTabTitle_UNZIP.zip. Unzip it, then install the install package (the .zip inside your download) from System > Install > Extensions.

How do I create my first rule quickly?

Open Components > Easy Tab Title, click a preset such as Come Back, save, confirm System - Easy Tab Title is enabled, clear cache, then test by switching browser tabs.

Can I run different messages on different pages?

Yes. Create one rule per message and use Targeting with Selected pages, All except selected, or URL include/exclude patterns.

Why does nothing change in the browser tab?

Confirm the system plugin is Enabled and Enable frontend runtime is Yes. Confirm at least one Published rule matches the page. Clear Joomla cache and hard-refresh (Ctrl+F5).

Does it require jQuery?

No. Easy Tab Title uses native JavaScript.

Does it respect reduced motion?

Yes. Component Options can respect prefers-reduced-motion and use quieter static titles when the visitor prefers less motion.
