Sample data and reset

Fresh installs

New sites start empty. The dashboard shows a first-time notice with Install sample data or Start with an empty desk.

Install sample data

Adds packaged demo rows only when missing: departments, agents, canned replies, custom fields, tags, types, statuses, SLA policies, mailboxes, mail rules, blocklist entries, mail log rows, KB articles, and tickets with staggered ages for reports.

Reset all data

1. Dashboard toolbar Reset all data.
2. Read the warning: deletes all Easy Helpdesk tickets, messages, attachments, KB, departments, agents, mailbox logs, and related records.
3. Type RESET in capitals to confirm.
4. Optionally tick Install sample data afterwards.

Joomla users, menus, and Global Configuration are not changed.
