Scheduled tasks

The package installs Task - Easy Helpdesk. Enable routines under System > Scheduled Tasks.

Easy Helpdesk: fetch mail

• Pulls unread messages from all configured mailboxes
• Schedule every few minutes for active email support
• Alternative: external cron hitting the keyed mail.fetch URL

Easy Helpdesk: SLA sweep

• Flags SLA breaches and applies escalation rules from policies
• Keeps clocks honest without someone opening the administrator

Tips

• Ensure the plugin is enabled after install
• Use Joomla scheduler logging if a routine fails silently
• Manual Fetch email in the administrator still works for tests
